More progress

The foundation is blocked up and the back porch has been framed in.  Lots of exterior progress lately.  We are looking forward to a bit more interior progress as the plumber is due to be there today -- hopefully is there now -- reconnecting pipes, adding drains, and adding the rough-in for the new small bathroom in the basement.  Monday and Tuesday they are planning to prepare and pour the new floor, which leaves Wednesday-Friday to do electric, HVAC, and build stairs!  Hmm.  We'll see how that goes.

Also, my dad and Alex spent a hot and sweaty afternoon yesterday installing a new mail slot.  The existing one is in the back door now, so of course we needed a new one.  I'm hoping the front porch will have stairs soon and we can resume our mail delivery!
